As a fan of Winky Wright, that was a hard fight to watch. However, I tip my hat to Williams, that was a great performance. I thought Winky was going to lose, but I expected it to be close.

Winky very classy in defeat.
If Williams stays as a MW, I think he's in trouble. I just can't see him beating a Pavlik or an Abraham. However, I think he could dominate 154.

Winky has always been a classy guy.
Well not a bad night, although disappointing.
And good night to everyone.

Winky is one of my favorite fighters, but that is simply not true. He stormed out of the ring after the Taylor fight (a very close fight that I feel Winky won, but could've gone either way) and initially refused to do a post-fight interview. That is not classy. He's always crying robbery after he loses, which in my mind discredits his opponents.

This was an outstanding performance from Williams. Winky didn't look shot to me, he was still competitive but got completely outgunned.
When Winky admits he got handily beat you know it must have been a shutout
I hope Paul stays at 160 or at least doesn't drop below 154. He could clean up at 154 and I'd love to see him and Mosely fight at that weight.
I really think its possible that he could beat Pavlik or Abraham if he can take their punches.
The guy is a freak of nature.
My ideal scenario would be for him to beat Pavlik, then move up and beat Kessler and for Calzaghe to come out of retirement and whup his ass![]()
