Even though Cotto is a bon fied superstar, I feel like he still has another level and with his combatitive relationship with his uncle would never reach that level.

All the greats that I can think of had a great bond with their trainer and trust, to go into the trenches and can get the most out of their fighter especially when adversity pops up.

I could be talking out of my ass here

Even though their was a translator in the corner for his margarito fight, I was curious to here every word to see how his corner was handling the adversity.. Seem like his Uncle was useless and couldnt come up with anything, nor did he even care... Always seem like a very sterile tough love between those 2... Like I said, not really sure what is said most of the time because of the language barrier, but it was apparent by their body language all the time that a change needed to take place.
I think you're pretty accurate in your assessment. Evangelista doesn't get along with either nephew. I remember the shoving incident between him and Miguel's brother Jose a couple of years back. In any case, I'm not too fond of having family members in the corner for too long. I even think Tito's father outstayed his welcome in Tito's corner. Too bad nobody in Tito's camp ever saw it that way. And about Cotto having another level and someone else bringing it out of him, you might be right on that one also.
