Most of the fighters you listed Brock have pretty decent chins.

Frank Bruno didn't have the greatest chin, but of active fighters...I have my suspisions about:

Alexander Povetkin - Eddie Chambers hurt the guy FFS
Alexander Dimitrenko - he hasn't been touched by a big timeor even an average puncher yet
Nicolay Valuev - Taras Bidenko, Monte Barrett, and probably some other guys have hurt this big dude
    NOTICE I DIDN'T LIST DAVID HAYE.....YET
Roy Jones Jr. - NOW, but during his prime he could take a shot if he had to.
    Enzo Maccarinelli - He just can't take a shot 3 losses 3 KO's

I have doubts about Cris Arreola's chin but I am wondering if it's just due to poor training.

Totally agree, Franks problem was when stunned he was a sitting duck and didnt have a clue how to tough it out, and just stood there taking bombs like they were going out of fashion.

Just had to comment as a fan of Frank, said it here before on other posts, as above Frank just didn't know what to do when hit.Look a the stopages he had, he was sat on the ropes and was taking some full on hits and just didn't go over.So. not so much as glass jaw as a bit clueless !!

I suspected Chris Byrd of owning a chin constructed of dry match sticks and glass....but he had a good beard.

There is no such thing as a bad chin !

what knocks you out is a variety of things !

Posture and Balance for one ! How often do you hear the term 'chinny banger'? It's all bollocks !

fighters sitting down on the punchers with their weight forward getting tagged by a counter punch normally a hook is a classic example !
Fighters with a poor defence who dont distribute their weight on the back foot and dont see the punch coming aresuckers ie front footed bully boys !

Tito, regarded as offensive but took a sustained beating from Hopkins yet didnt go down to the 12th round and yet was hit hurt and floored by the likes of Keven Lueshing early on his fights when well in the ascendancy .
Soon as Tyson started neglecting technique and boxing his way in he got harder and harder , Bruno rocked him with a big right hand early on in their fights and for a good ten seconds had him out on his feet , yet Tyson managed to take a sustained beating from Lewis without trying to get his own offense on well into his 30s.

Eye sight is also a big factor , the common myth of steeling yourself for a punch is absoloute bollocks ! What steels you is when you lessen the force of the punch by moving away or getting onto your toes .

Stregthening your neck muscles wont do fuck all for punch resistance except hurt you more , neck stregthening is for general posture, the arguement about the brain being rocked in the skull and the head whiplashing back is just the most stupid thing ive ever heard

Keeping your hands up and chin down is also the biggest load of horseshit ever , thats the quickest way to fatigue a fighter across the top of the shoulders, neck and back and anyone who teaches it is a total numptie .
If you have a peek aboo style you cant generate anypower and you dont see the punches coming and you cant move you feet if you cant move your hands

Basic principals of velocity ,torque and force . If a trucks hits a wall at 30 mph with 2 tonnes he's gonna sustain more damage that if he's travelling with half a toone.

If you dont want to get his then relax and find some POISE in the ring learn to move away from punches learn to take a small step back whenever you land the jab .

Agree that in general there are many aspects to a knockout, foot placement, balance even where you're hit. Some KO's are not due to being hit on the chin but on the temple whick will cause your legs to turn to jelly.
Also agree it's better to try and ride the punch than set yourself for it, setting yourself is just allowing yourself to be hit , id you ride the punch you are at least moving away from it and not taking the full force.

Have to disagree with some points though, neck training does prevent the whiplash effect of being hit in particular by a solid continuous jab which will repeatedly throw your neck back. it will also build up those muscles that can protect the carotid artery which if your hit on repeatedly can cause blurry vision and dizziness.
Develpoment of the neck muscles and the traps which are part of the back muscles can also help if being hit by a rabbit punch.
if you devlop these muscles which you say is a waste of time , you have the strength to keep your arms up and cover up your chin as most fighters do and will continue to do.Someone like Froch has been lucky to get away with the arms low style and hopefully he will continue to get away with.

    Brunos chin was solid

His KO defeats to witherspoon and bonecrusher were through fatigue not becuaes he couldnt take a punch

The KO punch against Lewis was a masisve swinging hook, his whole body behind it, that caught bruno on the point of the jaw, now that was a punch where anyone would have gone from

and his loses to Tyson he froze, he didnt fight well in either, yep he was KO'ed but he stood still for most of the fight, maybe it was all down to how good tyson was first time? second time it seemed to be brunos mental state

Bruno was the best heavyweight in the history of boxing
