He didn't coward out he just wanted to chill some more. If De La Hoya beat Pacquiao we would be talking about the upcoming Hatton-De La Hoya fight.

He turned it down cuz he said Oscar was to big. Now after Oscar-Pac all of a sudden Hatton says he would of beat him too. LOL. Sure Hatton. Sure
LOL So you really think De La Hoya, that statue that Pacquiao fought would beat Hatton? LOL Ok that is your opinion, but I wish they would fight It would be the first fight in a long time where I really wouldn't be all that nervous.

If ODLH was as weight drained as he was against Pacman then Hatton would beat him handily... 140lbs Hatton would probably overhelm him because it's clear that he is too old to do the weight anymore... anything other than that and I dunno... though I fear Oscar is shot now anyways.

Pac had the perfect game plan for Oscar. I seriously doubt Hatton can dart in an out the way Pac did. He has nowhere near the speed Pac has

sorry but Hatton would beat Oscar at 147 just as bad or worse than Pac did, DLH would still be weight drained, and i doubt he's found the fountain of youth to turn back the clock

DLH is only 35. He's part time fighter. He only fought 45 times from 1992 to 2008. He didn't go through many wars. I don't think he's that shot like most people make him. I think his nutritionist screwed him up.

Definetly, he still looked good against Floyd and what's his name who won the contender.

I'm just worried that it could have affected him long term, and whilst 35 isn't ancient, especially at the higher weights Oscar is a smaller fighter who has spent a lot of his career fighting below what is not his natural weight.

He's done. Anyone who is in the top ten of their division could probably give him a good run for his money & I'd wager the top 3 or 4 guys in the divisions from 140 to 160 would batter him badly. He was done when in the Mayweather fight he was getting outdone by a guy who must have weighed in about 10-15lbs lighter than him (regardless of how good PBF is). He also looked shot against Forbes, who as much as I like him, is a former 130 champ fighting about 15lbs above his fighting weight & marking him up. Just give it up, its over.

What do I think Oscar WILL do? Or SHOULD do? The question is unclear.

What WILL he do? He'll probably hang around, make some more noise about wanting to cement his legacy, and get his computer to spit out another "safe" opponent, one against which he'll have better luck than against Pacquiao.

What SHOULD he do? Retire and concentrate on promoting boxing.
