Yaqui Lopez.Nothing pretty but went to hell and back.Would of loved to have seen Kevin Pompey get a major strap, just a give and take battler that came up short.Once he went north in weight and the wars caught up...it got ugly. Thomas Tate.He had Julian jackson resembling a drunken man on roller skates.

Paul 'Hurricane' Briggs. Exciting fighter who could easily have got the nod v Adamek twice. Seems those 2 fights took everything he had cos has not fought for ages.

the following fighters could've, should've been world champions but for some reason either they fought in a very tough division or just had bad luck:
baby arizmendi - featherweight - old-timer - 71-27-13 13 KO's
ruben castillo - featherweight - fought in the 70's and 80's and fought the best of that era. really hardluck fighter. 69-10-2 37 KO's
alvaro "yaqui" lopez - light heavyweight - tough as nails fighter who fought i believe in the division's heyday era (1970's). 61-15 39 KO's.
mike ayala - super bantamweight - great technician who just fell short numerous times. 45-6 23 KO's.
art "golden boy" aragon - lightweight - the original "golden boy" who was extremely popular in los angeles in the 50's. was los angeles' first big superstar and was known to date many hollywood starlets. by the way, was originally from belen, new mexico which is about 40 miles from albuquerque where i live. 90-20-6 62 KO's.

Terrance Ali was unlucky.

Has Sakio Bika won a title? I think he is fun to watch and always up for a scrap.
