what youre experiencing is a concussion of which may range from mild, moderate or severe. what you describe sounds to me to be of the mild variety: slight dizziniess, inability to think clearly, ringing of the ears. this is common among boxers particulary those who often allow themselves to be hit. the only defense to this is - and sorry the redundancy- defense. you'll do well for yourself to stop eating punches as you cant box under the spell of the syptoms various levels of concussion impose on you. it hinders your ability to think on your feet

u need to just be in better shape ...if your body isnt fully hydrated you dont have enough brain fluid ..if your blood pressure is TOO high or too low it could cause dizzyness or headache afterwards

i didnt relize it till i had been boxing 3 yrs already when i matured alittle bit ...you really need to be in good shape to have the best results (not just stamina & excersices but what you put in your body & streching correctly)

I took a bit of a beating in a bout on wednsday... got hit with a few really hard shots to the head. maybe its because I was extremley well hydrated (sweated alot during and afterwards and didn't drink that much, yet when I woke up the next day I wasn't thirsty... )

but my head hasn't been sore in the slightest, usually if I don't have a head ache from the type of shots I got caught with I atleast had a bad head if I moved it rapidly. But no pain at all, my neck is very sore though, maybe I was more relaxed/less relaxed than usual or something though and my neck abosrbed alot of the force... I dunno.

Maybe the punches just killed what little brain cells I had to feel pain?
