Floyd Snr was a solid journeyman, but he never won a world title.
The Mancini's (Lennie and Ray) have to be up there; Ray won a title; Lennie was a top contender who was possibly robbed of a reign due to boxing politics and World War II.
Leon and Cory Spinks won world titles....

George Foreman
I feel bad for Marvis, because he had the misfortune of going up against a top 3 of all time HW in Larry Holmes, and an offensive whirlwind like Prime Tyson, and he kinda unfairly gets judged on those two fights alone.
I believe Guty Espadas Jr. and Sr. were the first father/son combo to win world titles.
Felix Trinidad Sr. & Tito Trinidad, Sr. won local titles but didn't have anywhere the type of success that Tito did, turned out to be a better trainer than a fighter
Father Daughter combo
Muhammad Ali & Laila Ali, possibly one of the best women fighters, but that doesn't say much honestly
Roy Sr & Roy Jones Jr, Roy Sr fought with Marvin Hagler, and well everyone knows what Jr went on to be, ATG
Jose & Erik Morales, Jose was a contender in the 70's, and well Morales is a 3 weight class champion
the Hiltons (Dave Sr. Davey, and Matthew) Sr had a decent career, and his sons went on to become world champions
all i can think of really
Good call on the Espadas..
You also have the Montiels, pops never won a title but was really good.
Matter a fact I think the Montiels are the most extensive boxing family ever.
Uncles, brothers and cousins have all boxed. I think total theirs been 5 of them.
Not a lot of people know this but Tito Sr. fought the great Salvador Sanchez. Tito was 7-3 while Sanchez was 31-1.
Sanchez TKO'd him in 5 rounds.

Wow, I didn't know that. Interesting.
That means you only need 3 fighters to connect Sr. and Jr.
Felix Sr. fought Sanchez, who fought Azumah Nelson, who fought Pernell, who fought Tito.
And now that I think about it... Floyd Sr. fought Ray Leonard, who fought Hector Comacho, who fought Oscar, who fought Floyd Jr.
It would appear that his promoters are hell bent to make this happen with Chavez Jr.Nice enough kid but he can stand atop a 2 story building and still not realize the heights his father achieved. He might win a strap still.
Watching A young Camacho jr stubble and be so undisaplined coming up...and no mas against Leija gave me a new found appreciation for Camacho Sr. and his accomplishments/style in the ring.
