Not a lot of people know this but Tito Sr. fought the great Salvador Sanchez. Tito was 7-3 while Sanchez was 31-1.
Sanchez TKO'd him in 5 rounds.

Wow, I didn't know that. Interesting.

That means you only need 3 fighters to connect Sr. and Jr.

Felix Sr. fought Sanchez, who fought Azumah Nelson, who fought Pernell, who fought Tito.

And now that I think about it... Floyd Sr. fought Ray Leonard, who fought Hector Comacho, who fought Oscar, who fought Floyd Jr.

It would appear that his promoters are hell bent to make this happen with Chavez Jr.Nice enough kid but he can stand atop a 2 story building and still not realize the heights his father achieved.He might win a strap still.

Watching A young Camacho jr stubble and be so undisaplined coming up...and no mas against Leija gave me a new found appreciation for Camacho Sr. and his accomplishments/style in the ring.
