Its Frochs own fault, hes in the entertainment business now and if he cant fight entertaining enough or be personable enough to get people to feel they need to see him fight then he wont make any money.

If Tyson were to comeback now and do a small show against anyone, er.......say Audley Harrison as an example, then I can guarantee you that he will sell millions online at a tenner a pop, he is someone that even non boxing fans feel they need to watch.

Froch either needs to start being a nicer bloke, or start actually fighting rather than talking or taking on decent recognised super middle names, as yet hes done non of those which is why he has no following.

Ill bet you the only fight anyone can remember of Frochs is his fight with Reid and that will be because of Reids name

Agreed...I wanna watch the fight but there's no way I'm paying for it when I already pay for Sky Sports and Setanta AND Sky Sports PPV's, Manny v Ricky is coming up in a couple of weeks for God's sake, taking food out of his mouth my arse.

Want your fans to stay loyal? want your country to see you fight? then take a bit less than you wanted and ask for more money when you're capable of bringing in higher amounts of viewers after you win (hoping you do).

Well i have paid before on line and the stream was a millions dollers deffo worth a tenner rather than watching a link thats perfect all card until the main fight and then its the worst stuttering piece of shit i have ever seen, im deffo paying.

but serius it's already been said. most of us brits already fork out for sky sports setanta and the PPV's...and Froch wants me to give him a tenner to watch him fight...with Hatton PPV coming up shortly....not a chance.

People who actually watch what they spend might think "well Hattons coming up, ill save on something else and actually pay the 15 quid for that one" Then they will see that Frochs fight is a tenner and think "Yep, still getting the Hatton fight"

Read Kirkland Laings thread on the other board. I paid £2 for the Williams - Winky fight last weekend. Hooked my tv upto my pc and watched in full screen. It was perfect, no lag, no buffering...just awesome.

It'll save you £8.

If Buncey's so worried that a load of people watching a free live stream of the fight will take food from Carl's mouth, I'll happily send a couple of tins o' beans to Mr. Froch, probably got a steak n kidney pie round here too

This is a Showtime fight so under no circumstances pay for it. Showtime fights are normally pretty good quality online, they don't have the manpower like HBO to scour the net taking down links. So whatever you do don't put money into Hennessy's pocket for this ridiculous price. At the very least go with one of Kirkland's £2 links. The less people that 'express interest' the more chance of Setanta picking it up last minute. The problem has apparently been that Hennessy wants something like £250,000+ for this fight alone. As much as we complain about the German boxing, my understanding is that Kelle Sauerland gave it to Setanta for effectively peanuts, less than a fifth of what Hennessy wants for this single fight. It just shows that he is a smart businessman and realizes that its a good way to get his fighters some attention outside Germany. It certainly given some profile to guys like Marco Huck & Karo Murat.
