As for fighters who retired too early, well I think the example given (Naseem Hamed) is not good. The Barrera fight finished Naseem, it was just the Prince was smart enough to realize that.

He had money, but did not have the fire in the belly no more (I guess them pies he ate, put it out), so he did the smart thing.

An example I would use of fighters who perhaps retired too early would include someone like Jemal Hinton, a Kronk fighter, who looked like he might have what he it took, just to call it a day at 22-0.

    Jemal Hinton
No doubt with Hinton.Huge mystery.I think alot of it was frustration over being on the back burner a bit to the Carrs,Moorers, etc. He and his father were openly ctitical of having the Championship fight elude him even with massive exposure and a solid run.You could see it in the prior to the Nolasco fight. His father seemed to butt heads with Manny.

Marvis Frazier, those two loses,he didnt fight like the Ammie he was,he tried to slug it out.
If he had re-tuned,and gone back to being a sniper,he could have made noise.
Ann Wolfe,Ann with one good arm beats 90% of the female fighters out there in any weight class she wants to be in.
Boom Boom Mancini-His head wasnt in the game, but his skills were still fine,a good therapist to get him over the Kim fight.........
