As for fighters who retired too early, well I think the example given (Naseem Hamed) is not good. The Barrera fight finished Naseem, it was just the Prince was smart enough to realize that.
He had money, but did not have the fire in the belly no more (I guess them pies he ate, put it out), so he did the smart thing.
An example I would use of fighters who perhaps retired too early would include someone like Jemal Hinton, a Kronk fighter, who looked like he might have what he it took, just to call it a day at 22-0.
