Same assessment here... PBF is the favorite against any of these 3 and IMO below is the order on who gives the tougher fight to PBF:

    1. PAC
    2. JMM
    3. Hatton

He is too big and classy for Pac
Same as above for Marquez but may take abit longer if teh negative Marquez turns up

The only guy Floyd needs to be fighting is Shane Mosley but Floyd wont take it.
I agree. All 3 are mismatches. He already impaled Hatton into the ring post once. As hilarious as it is to see there is no point in doing it again. Marquez would be game and try his hardest. But I got him losing a lopsided decision. While Mayweather is no longer in his prime. He's not the walking corpse De La Hoya was. And he's not the garbage David Diaz was. So the smoke and mirrors Pacquiao has been using won't be at his disposal against Mayweather. He would be completely out of his league and would most likely blame the lost on either his gloves or socks. Hell he might even come up with a new one.

Mayweather needs to fight Welterweights. That's it.

Floyd Mayweather Sr.: Juan Manuel Marquez 'nothing but a tune-up' for his son

All of the recent speculation about Floyd Mayweather's return to the ring has focussed on a possible July 18 matchup against Juan Manuel Marquez. Is there also a meeting with "Sugar" Shane Mosley in his future?
At least that's the view of his estranged father, Floyd Mayweather Sr., who suggested his son will face Marquez later this year in preparation for bout with Mosley.

"Yeah, all he needs is two fights and he'll be ready for Shane," he said in an interview posted at FightHype.com. "Marquez ain't going to be nothing but a tune-up, somebody to pick apart like target practice."

JMM is one of my favorite fighter and im not too fond of Mayweather, but PBF would beat him in a near mismatch, and stop him before the 8th imo. Floyd is too big and strong. Marquez has done very well at lightweight, but hes been hurt by men much smaller than Mayweather. JMM is not even a big lightweight and fighting above that weight, he will be at a huge disadvantage imo. I truly believe that Marquez is a better fighter than Floyd, but he would be up against too much. It would really tell a lot about Floyd if he comes back to fight him instead of taking on a bigger challenge. Then again, nothing we didnt already know.

Floyd should be ashame of himself for cherry picking a smaller fighter. Why can't he fight Cotto or PWill?

I think so too, he wants big names to become easy targets before picking them. I don't think he'll ever dare to fight Cotto, the Punisher or somebody like it in their prime.

Pff just like he was going to be too scared to go up to 154 to Fight Oscar De La Hoya, or fight JLC again, or fight Hatton... Mayweather has been waiting for somebody to make a name for themselves.

Cotto didn't look that good in his last outting. Paul Williams generates no hype yet even though he is really good, and IMO his style wouldn't do well against Mayweather at all, he is terrible against movement(like Pavlik) there was nothing he could do against Quintana who is way slower than mayweather. I admit Mosley is a challenge and I think Mayweather should face him, but Pacquiao IMO would still be harder and a better fight for boxing if Pacman can beat Hatton.
