My issues with Valuev are this...he can put together some good punches...but it's horribley apparent when those shots are going to come off & anyone that can get inside can land on him.

I don't believe that Wlad would have it as easily as people think.

I believe that Wlad would win...but it would be no walk in the park.

Valuev's size gives him a huge advantage & I am sure fighting in Germany seals the deal as it most often does for the hometown pick when a decision is to be made.

Valuev's interesting to people on size alone, IWO.

Be careful in liking Wlad, Bilbo might start saying you're gay because he likes thinking outside the box.

Valuev's size can be an advantage or a disadvantage...I think he's the size where a smaller fighter can really bother him. You'd have to be in and out and stay in the pocket so Valuev couldn't get anything on the punches.

Anywho...to date...Valuev's size has been his advantage & credit to Valuev, he knows how to work it.

I finally saw the Ruiz fight to the end & he did beat Ruiz...but Ruiz put up a hellacious fight for Ruiz.

I want to see him come stateside & get dropped once or twice...just to see his big ass try to get up.

The bigger they are...the harder they fall it is for them to get up!

Wacko do you think the ring could survive a 7'2 monster smashing into the canvas?

I'm only joking with you Lyle, Wlad will probably get the better of Valuev if they meet. :P

Im absolutely certain Wlad beats Valuev, but Im also certain that some people are obligated to down what he's done. Ruiz was supposed to be his undoing and he DID beat him fair and square.

Don't sugar coat that shat bilbo!

I was just trying to defuse the arguement...you know Valuev would stomp Wlad's ass into the canvas...errrrrrrrrrrrr...or visa versa.

Just watched the Valuev Beck fight. I would liked to have been in Beck's training camp to see what they said. I mean he didn't look to be in shape and he didn't move with any efficiency, it was like he didn't have any plan at all. I mean Valuev is huge, stick and move and make him come to you. Beck spent most of the fight either standing toe to toe with Valuev or leaning on the ropes, he couldn't possibly think he was going to win the fight like that.

This is the only fight I have seen Valuev in so I can't really pass judgment on him either way. I mean he beat Beck handily but Beck played right into the strengths on a man who was taller and bigger.

I don't really like Valuev much at all, I just like to say he will batter Wlad to annoy Lyle.

Call me a sad little man, but it just amuses me the predictableness of his posts, i.e suggest someone will beat Wlad and you know a 'Why Wlad will beat the all current heavyweights' post is coming, or ask 'Who is the best heavyweight?' and you know you will see a 'Wlad has a great jab...blah...blah...blah...', or 'Well Ali is definitely NOT the best...yada....yada....yada....' post appearing within the next hour.

Yes I know I'm petty, but since crossing over the ocean at the end of Return of the King I'm finding life a bit dull. And I am 129 years old now so I'm allowed to get a little cranky
