I agreed totally with your statement when I first saw it, I just didn't post it in that thread. When I quit smoking, I found there was a big adjustment for me in terms of social interaction because I would quite often introduce myself to people, make friends with people etc. over a cig.

Can make friends at cancer clinics too I am fairly sure. Gay rights protests. Friends of Gary Coleman rallies. Church. NAMBLA...
Kinda silly to sell smoking as a good social tool, imo. Any group of like-minded/doing people will obv. interact.
