Froch i think is a very clever man. I wouldn't think he was injured atall. Just playing some mind games i'd say. I would absolutely love to see some video footage of those sparring sessions him and pascal had in camp. Tremendous.
There are no sure things in boxing, but I'd be shocked if a guy who's been competitive against Hopkins, Wright, Pavlik, Spinks, etc., can't completely school a guy like Froch, who's fought vastly inferior competition. But I guess you could have said the same thing about the first Pavlik fight. Still, I've got Taylor by wide UD.
Hell be ok Froch will ruin taylor I reall believe that. Might fall behind in the early eorunds but Froch owns taylro in the second half of the fight imo
I hear Froch holds his hands low. That's about all I've heard. Any of you Brits have a little more info on him? It has been hard to find film.
i really think froch has the killer instinct & fights with his heart as well, in my book exciting to fight! hope he is the real thing!
Your right he does hold his hands low but is quite quick for a big guy. Although the Pascal fight was a great bit of match making that made for a very close and competitve fight he wil have to step up his quality to retain his WBC belt and mix it with the big guns out there. I can see him nailing Taylor if he is underestimated but if Jermain is really hungry it will be very close. Froch has a great chin but his low hands and eagerness to stand and trade makes him vunerable. He has fought for and won the English, Commonwealth and British super-middle weight belts and now holds the WBC belt. Didn't turn pro till 25 and has a record of 24 fights - 24 wins - 19 by way of KO. Hope he does it and starts a mini revival of British boxers holding there own on the world stage with Hatton next and David Haye in June.
Froch took alot of flush shots in the Pascal fight.....I hope he tightened up that defense and holds his hands up high or he is really going to be tasting some leather from Taylor.......
I cant wait!! Some great fights on tonight.
