see that sounds bad sorry to hear that dude. THe thing about what is going on with me is that she is always around me with the other guy and it hurts just to see them together. It pissed me off at first but now it is just a pain that i cant seem to get past it has been about half a year since she broke up with me. But texting and using that as the tool of the breakup sounds the worst i have been dumped that way but most chicks are at least good enough to tell me to my face. She shouldnt have treated you that way. You sound like a good guy so it sounds just wrong to do that to someone. i went out with my ex for like a year and a couple months but i see her everyday. and she keeps f****ing with me talking " i really miss you" then i would ask "why you broke up with me not the other way" Almost like it wasnt good enough to break up with me but to keep f***ing around with me after...

This may sound really bad, but I never stayed friends with an ex. It's too painful. The only way I can deal is to cut all ties completely. It's very hard to do for a few weeks, but in the long run it's best for your mental state.

All that "I missyou" stuff is just her trying to make you still want her! Girls don't want you to stop wanting them even when they don't want you!

Seriouslly though, I can deal with most things, e.g when I was 23 I was about £25,000 in debt and I never lost a minutes sleep! I've lost jobs and been out of work (before been married) and not given a shit! Day-today stuff can't get to me, but woman are my weakness and the right woman (and there aren't many like that) can reduce me to a whimpering little kid lol

If you think you can still live your life having to see her all the time and be friends, then that's the right thing for you. Personally, as hard and horrible as it would be to beging with, I would cut all ties with her and move on with your life.

Good straight forward advice there mate.Look after number one(yourself)and just get on with things!What i kept on doing to keep me from thinking about my stunning ex all the time,was to go out jogging and let off some steam.I really do think she'll regret leaving me some day i really do.Im not wishing she'll regret me,but i have a strong feeling she will.I class the situation about her leaving me in such a crappy way as,Its her loss not my!One day i think she'll kick herself.

I've been in that situation before. I was more mad than sad. But I got over in about 3 months when I met someone. My advice is just talk to someone and stay busy with something productive. Go to the gym, work out, etc..

Yeah have experienced it and im only 20 lol My ex broke up with me by phone when i lived just around the corner from her. Then i asked to speak to her 2 weeks later because i wanted closure and she said she would. 5 mins before i was supposed to meet her, she texted that she didnt want to talk to me and wanted to leave things the way they are. I wasnt given a reason at all. I told her i wouldnt bad mouth her and she promised she wouldnt either. I kept my end of the bargain, she didnt apparently lol She wont even look me in the eye these days and thats a yr ago lol Im way over it, quite happy to be single and she has a new bf (if you ask me, hes a step down from me lol hes a little nerdy lookin bloke). I introduced myself to her new bf and the guy nearly shit himself haha

Havent really been with anyone since the break up, long story made short...i now have trust issues. If a girl has interest in me, i find it very hard to trust them and i usually end up fuckin it up coz i live in a small town where everyone knows each other and im very weary of who i crack onto lol Recently this week i have had sucess with this one girl but i get flash backs of situations i had with my ex when certain topics come up. I realise from this situation how much easier single life is, sure relationships are nice but fuck they cause some stress.

true that.... i have the situation of respecting her too much to really hurt her boyfriend. i could break him he is pretty scrawny but i have respect for both of them. So when i first found out they were dating i scared him shitless because i told him if i ever see her cry i was going to break his f***ing legs. he took a pretty big scare to that...lol.
