Very surprising to see this happen. I never was impressed with John Duddy and I never understood all the hype he got from Boxing fans and fans here in the States and even more with New York. New York shows all of his damn fights 24-7.

of the subject, but you watching the number were putting on the Spurs? 5-2 now

United would have won the game anyway once they get their tails up ! Never a penalty .
I was switching between Birmingham and Preston , Ross Wallace scored a brilliant free kick from 30 yards Beckhamesque.

I think Duddy was managed to well ! Sounds stupid but he was never pitched in deep always given the same kinda fighter for too long and has clearly platoued

Maybe being cut loose will do the kid some good instead of having the fighting hopes of a nation on his back .

I hope soo , he needs some relief.
If anything this is really Duddy's 3rd loss. Looks like the checks to the judges bounce this time

Ok ignoring Duddy's disappointing loss what the fuck has happened to Kasim Ouma?

Has there ever been such a sudden decline in a fighter for seemingly no apparent reason?

It's not like he suddenly got old or was brutally beaten and broken he should be in his fighting prime.

Has he got outside issues that we don't know about or some other external factors?

Also will Oumafan remain loyal to him or will he have to eventually namechange?

The Jermain Taylor fight ruined him. He took a lot of punches in that fight

he shouldn't have gone up in weight it ruined his stamina puch output. his never been a power puncher but he did good work with quantity.

I havent seen the fight, but fuck Billy Lyell? WTF happened? I can't even begin to think of how that could happen. Duddy must have really pulled a no-show, well thats what he gets. I read he looked sluggish, well back to fucking square 1 I guess.

If they want to put Duddy in with JCC Junior or some other big money fight then they'll have to get him winning again first. Otherwise he comes back to Ireland and fights some tomato cans. Probably Duddy gives it another go in America, exhausts his economic value there then heads back to Ireland.

No, but he needed a gift to beat Matt Vanda the first time and Vanda is worse than Duddy.

Duddy is a disgrace: Clearly a trumped fighter pimping his race to get him some $$$$. Although I can't say that I blame someone for wanting to make money, Duddy was always mediocre at best.
He's fortunate he never stepped in the ring with a top tier fighter.

haha, at least Duddy lost too, that softens the blow, oh well, to be totally honest I had no clue Ouma was even fighting, I have the worst screen name ever but if I didn't change it after he lost to K9 what's the point here

I don't know what I'd change it too to be honest, ZahirRaheemFan

I always loved irish John Duddy. I never thought he was "that" good though but I sincerely thought he was better than that, just not good enough for the elite. I've always seen him like a kind of Gatti in power to say so; tons of heart, battling anybody with excitement but technically talking, never one of the finest. For the moment, it is only a disappointing lost, perhaps it was what he needed to raise his game by a few degrees and to wake him up to work harder let see how it goes but I think it might help him to become an interesting gate keeper in the division (which is mosly the best I think he could achieve but still, an exciting and kind gate keeper).

duddy losing although an upset is hardly a shock.

He`s almost been found out by genuine journeymen 2-3 times now and leaves himself far too open to ever mix it with the big boys

duddy cant get away with trying to be a gatti because he has neither the power or the accuracy a prime arturo had!!
    one dangerous horrible bloke
