I dont see David Diaz as mediocre, the only thing is that he is somwhat too slow for Manny.Oscar of course is not in good condition when he fought Manny.

But fighters are fighters just the same. They wont be pitted vs. Manny if the promoters deem they have no chances of winning. What i mean is HATTON,has something to ponder upon the above advise by DAVID DIAZ.Here is a guy who had experienced fighting Manny.

At least HATTON should listen to David.

Btw the tone of this article is gleaming with gloom on HATTON'S chances. This is my personal view.No offense meant...
Nonito Donaire will soon be a name to reckon with...

He was good enough to get a belt, but falls short of all his rivals at 135 IMO. He was the worst of the champs and that is why he was chosen, a vehicle to make Manny look impressive going up after the fits Marqez had given him.

Hatton would be best off listening to his own team, Diaz has no real insight into beating Manny IMO. Diaz is another of those clouded by his own loss and getting an Oscar pick wrong.

makes sense, but i still believe Diaz advice is something to ponder for HATTON. Maybe for adjustments in fight strategy.

Before the Diaz fight Pacquiao wasn't known as a heavy punching brawler? hope that was meant to say Manny wasn't known as much, except a heavy punching brawler.

    Classic .

Hatton outmuscled Kostya Tsyu and broke Castillio's ribs ! Hardly shrinking violets were they .
I'm sure Hatton will feel his way int thefight and then bam .
    I'm growing in confidence .

    David Diaz is soooo right...

"David Diaz has a strange recommendation for Ricky Hatton, a boxing brawler: Don't brawl against Manny Pacquiao..."

Hatton just ignored David's unsolicited advice and now David Diaz can boast that he did better against Pacquiao...
