Hatton will cut him down for a late rounds stoppage. I've spoken enough over the previous months so will leave it at that.

If my life depended on it i'd pick Pac. But I have a feeling this is Hatton's fight.

Hatton will be stronger than anyone Pac has faced and will hit him harder. Pac can be hurt, especially to the body, which has to give Hatton great confidence.

I think his problem will be handling Pac's power early doors, IF he gets through that, I think he can force Pac back and mow him over for a stoppage win.

    Can't wait.

Same here mate...gonna wake my step son up at 3am (He's 7 and is a mini Hatton in the making)

Just hope the ref let's Ricky fight in close and unleash those body shots - which i agree could be Key in slowing down Pac.

This could all hinge on the ref you know!

I havn't put forth a prediction for this fight in any other thread, and still don't know which way to swing... When I lean towards one for certain reasons, I look to the other and see equally strong reasons for their winning...

Of course, when the first gets 5 rounds in, the way it is going might make us say, "duh, why wasn't it this obvious that the fight would go this way". A bit like DLH Pac, it made a lot of sense on the night the way Pac handled him, but up until the fight how could you know...

I think anything could happen in this fight which is the exciting part.. Will be cracking while it lasts..

I'll predict though that if it goes 12 rounds, it'll be a Hatton win with 7 or 8 rounds....

all i could say is that i think it will be a great fight.my worry for manny is that how he would react in a rough fight.. and my worry for ricky is how long his face will hold up against manny? his faced looked like this when paulie barely touched him.

If Manny can get Hatton on the back foot from the 1st bell he will take this easily, but if he does'nt and Hatton pressurises him early on in the fight, coming in at angles, keeping close and working the body Manny will be in a hell of a lot of trouble and the end will be early!!

In reality though I think they will go toe to toe and the overall better strength of Hatton will ensure a TKO victory around the 8th round.....Manny is quality but Hatton is bigger and stronger and that will be the factor that matters!

I can not see Pacquiao stopping Hatton but I can not see Hatton winning this fight. Hatton fights straight forward and that is the worst way to fight Pacquiao. His team picks straight forward fighters because it fits his style. Hatton is bigger but not taller and he would have to go to the body to thwart Pac's movement and unorthodox punches. Hatton must go to the body and use his body strength to keep Pac where he wants him. He'll have hell trying to cut the ring off with Pac but he can outmuscle him and tear that body down. But I'm afraid we'll see the same ol' Hatton and that one is easy for Pac to figure out.

I am the King of predictions:

Tszyu KO8 Hatton; Lacy TKO10 Calzaghe; Hatton WU12 Mayweather and not forgetting Woods WU12 Tarver.

So I think you can take Paciquao TKO6 Hatton to any Icelandic bank you wish!

The way I see it, Manny is the favorite and rightfully so. The smart money would be on him. But thats a fact that has no relevance whatsoever when the bell rings. I can see scenarios where Manny wins, and where Pac wins. If Manny wins, it will because of his speed and boxing ability. In and out, throwing fast combos, using angles, staying a step ahead. If Hatton wins, it will be because of a consistant BODY ATTACK. That is the key for Hatton. If Hatton tryes outbox him he will lose. He needs to outhustle him and although he cant outsmart him imo, he can keep him offbalance by mixing it up. He can surprise him. He can time him coming in.

I think this should be noted too: Manny will be faster than Mayweather was the night he beat Hatton. Much faster. Hatton will have to fight the fight of his life and time him again and again....I cant wait for the fight. May the best man win.
