Hatton will make the weigh in fine, there is no evidence to suggest Hatton is struggling to make weight except for the conjecture of someone in the Pac camp. All a load of hot air!

Like 99% of the stuff posted in here by Pac fans, tbf. Anybody know if the weigh in will be shown on TV in the UK?

Report: Hatton struggling to make weight limit
    05/01/2009 | 05:24 PM

MANILA, Philippines – It appears cracks are beginning to show up at Ricky Hatton’s camp less than 48 hours before the “Hitman" slugs it out with Manny Pacquiao in the Battle of East and West on May 2 (May 3 in Manila) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Weight problems and a reported misunderstanding with trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. had left Hatton cramming for form – physically and mentally – going into his 12-round fight with Pacquiao where his International Boxing Organization (IBO) light-welterweight title is at stake.

Alex Ariza, Pacquiao’s conditioning coach, believes the 30-year old boxer from Manchester, England has yet to comfortably meet the 140-pound limit based on the road work Hatton was still doing Thursday at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas campus.

Ariza talked to one of the strength and conditioning coach who was around when Hatton jogged around the campus oval. “My source saw them running out in the sun, so probably he’s still struggling to make weight."

A known beer drinker when not in training camp, Hatton had struggled several times in the past just to meet the junior welterweight limit.

Ariza’s revelation came in the heels of the alleged rift between Hatton and Mayweather Sr. Hatton reportedly felt miserable working out under the outspoken Mayweather Sr., whose practice of coming late in training doesn’t sit well with the two-time world champion.

Mayweather Sr., hired by Hatton last year to replace long-time trainer Billy Graham, didn’t deny the matter, but stressed out that everything else had been settled with Hatton.

“I addressed the situation and the problems I had with him," admitted Mayweather Sr. “I addressed things with him. I let him know I don’t play that, don’t do that. He knows now."

“I won’t disrespect him. If I don’t want someone else disrespecting me in no kind of a way, I’m not going to disrespect anybody else in no kind of a way. We have a very clear understanding between each other. I make sure I have a clear understanding with everybody I train because nobody is going to be jerking me around and I take no mess off nobody," said Mayweather Sr.

Ariza, however, couldn’t care less about Hatton’s rift with his trainer. He’s more concerned on the physical condition of Pacquiao’s opponent.

“The tale would be after the weigh-in when I hear how much he weighs in," Ariza said. “If he’s over 150 pounds, his body is gonna be weak and I think Manny will go right after him." – GMANews.TV
Pac is already at 140 limit (in tagalog)...

    Great.

You're just giving them excuses bro. I think I'm gonna hear "Pac beat up another weight drained fighter" after the fight.

Yo' AS; let's just for arguments sake say that Ricky H. does a # on your boy and beats him bloody and ruined. Will the Pacfans blame it on Pac being a naturally smaller guy or any # of other excuses? Or would you take the defeat for what it was, a plain ass whooping?

And what happened to your kitten avatar fom yesterday? Did you already cook him up and feast on the poor little furball?

If RH beats Pacquiao to the pulp, ofcourse I won't have any excuses whatsoever. The way I see this fight is "beat the man to be the man". And Manny is the man.

I don't like kitty's. I prefer whisky with cobra blood.

Probably the first fact you've posted on this thread ^^

    Haha, I kid, I kid

Hey Clint, sorry I can't find any pic of Hatton's bus... I believed there's none... There must be some favoritism in Vegas... PAC has a custom bus while Hatton has none...

Anyway here's another photo of the Pacquiao bus...

No probs mate , I tried as well, I'm not even sure if one exists to be honest?!

But Pacquiao's bus is very pretty I'll give you that

At 138 Manny looks like he could walk around like that everyday and eat a hearty meal. He doesn't look like he needs too much hydration. Hatton on the other hand is a bigger man and he has slimmed down. Immediately he will be drinking and eating a lot to get back into his body the way he needs.

Come tomorrow you will see the size difference made much more apparent. Manny will look pretty much the same. Hatton will be significantly stronger. No doubts about that (and he won't be much slower either).

He is PAC's Filipino trainer, Buboy Fernandez... PAC's childhood friend... Would you believe that PAC became a boxer first before Buboy became a trainer... It's PAC who convinced Buboy to become his trainer!! LOL

Another photo of Buboy at Freddie Roach Wild Card Gym...

Hatton looked tense and too much pressured while PAC looked cool, calm and relaxed....
