All I can say is WOW, what a KO.


I think people are very quick to jump to the conclusion that just because a fighter loses by KO that they should retire immediately. This stuff was brought up when Wladimir Klitschko lost to Sanders and Brewster but he's done his best boxing since those losses. Ricky Hatton's style isn't built for the long haul but I don't think he should go out on his back like that.

Sure Ricky's fans are annoying as fuck but as a fighter Ricky is a good blue collar fighter, he is kind of this era's Carmen Basilio. I think Ricky should either have Lee Beard as his trainer or Roach or McGirt for 2-3 fights.

Ricky has plenty of options at 140: Junior Witter, Ricardo Torres, Kendall Holt, Demetrius Hopkins, Timothy Bradley, Lamont Peterson, and even Amir Kahn.
