Simple question could it be that Kostya was way past his prime and not that Hatton was so great ? i mean after all that fight was kostya's last fight of his career as a fighter (not to mention the ref). What im trying to say is so many people have use that fight to gauge Hattons career without considering Kostya was way past his prime. That fight is the main reason so many of his fans rate him so high, so imo he was a very overrated fighter.Sorry your heart was smashed, but it was just another prize fight with both fighters getting very well rewarded for their efforts. Dont take it personal its business as usual.
I actually think the Tszyu fight took a lot out of Hatton (did you see his face after that fight? it looked like a busted ass ) Hatton has never produced that same intensity again and sometimes in the fight game win or lose, one fight can bring you back to the rest of the field. Tszyu may have been at the end of his career but he still gave Hatton a working over too. Against Pacquiao Hatton looked completely out of his depth and we all know he was better than that.
