Here's my short analytic Prediction for this fight.

How the hell Hatton can close the Gap without taking bombs? Pac's arms are 5" longer than hatton. Pac has the better Jab... Ohh much better coz hatton actually was Virtually no Jab at all. On this fight Pac will use a lot of his Lead Left coz that punch will still be the longer & effective shot that hatton's Jab.

Now How can Hatton can close the Gap? His Jab won't help. hatton will use his head movement to get close to Pac. The Bad news ... Pac's footspeed is much Faster than Hatton. All Pac has to do is step Back & counter with Jab, Right Hook or lead left.

IN case Pac was caught in a Clinch, Pac was good in this situation. All you have to do is watch Pac-Velasquez. Pac can throw that Left uppercut hook even while Clinching. Pac also aware on what's coming & quick to move his head on one side to the other to avoid Punches during a Clinch.

The key in this fight is Pac's punch accuracy from the outside. Hatton's is way out of League in that Category. I see this fight going the way How Pac beat Lucero & David Diaz. Make Hatton miss then strafe him from the outside. We saw it in Pac's last 2 fights. He never let his opponent tie him up on the inside. Pac will have a Punch fest from the outside for this fight. Hatton's arms are way too short to Block Pac's avalanche of punches. Pac K0 rd 5.
It went exactly How I predicted. Pac just ends it too early.

It's nice to see PAC showing great concern on Ricky (he looks like a little boy in this pic) after inflicting the worst beating ever on Ricky... There's nothing personal on it... It's only part of boxing...

Pacquiao's a good guy, and you know whoever lost, either Ricky or Manny would check to see if the other was ok.

Although a very brutal loss, it contained 2 fighters who are proud and respectful, and with all the trash talking and bullcrap you see between other fighters all the time, I'm glad these guys are just as much themselves in the ring as they are out of it.

Happy for Pacquiao, sad for Hatton, but in the end, the better man won.

    Well done Manny

Maybe have a darts rematch now? In the Philippines of course

    link --> RICKY: I HAVEN'T STOPPED CRYING

RICKY HATTON has revealed he has not stopped crying since his brutal KO defeat by Manny Pacquiao.

Britain’s most popular fighter was due home from Las Vegas this morning but has decided to remain there until the weekend to ponder his ring future.

Hatton, 30, who is being comforted by his fiancée Jennifer Dooley, admitted how badly he has been affected, saying: “I am absolutely devastated. My head is in bits.

“I didn’t think I could cry any more than after the Floyd Mayweather Jnr loss but I certainly have.”

‘The Hitman’, who lost to Mayweather Jnr in December 2007, admitted his chances of defeating the Filipino were over when he suffered the first of three knockdowns in round one.

He added: “He knocked me down from practically the first punch he threw and I never recovered.

“Maybe if I had gone a few rounds I could have won but there was nothing I could do about it.

“Whatever I decide to do I am sorry but I won’t be making any rash decisions.”

Hatton, who plans a long-term career as a boxing promoter, is expected to announce his decision at the opening of his new gym in Hyde on Tuesday.

He says: “I have worked with a lot of promoters and I can become the best promoter in the world because I’ll do right by the fighters and that doesn’t always happen.”

Although Hatton insists he is undecided on whether to box again, the smart money is on a farewell fight in Manchester later this year, possibly against former WBO lightweight champion Michael Katsidis.

Hey no shame in like a baby after that kind of defeat. Plenty of $$$ bills to wipe the tears away though. He'll really be crying if he gets knocked out in a farewell fight to Katsidis or Khan. I wish him well though.

Yep no shame in crying... Even PAC cried right after hearing his decision loss to Erik Morales on top of the ring infront of millions of TV viewers around the world... Tho for Hatton, I'm guessing he was crying inside... He was holding it off and actually didn't show it openly...

Crying with this kind of defeat won't make you a lesser man...

So Ricky really felt the right hook from Pac then.

Hatton v Katsidis. That'd be awesome!
