Follow this link and watch Ronaldo,at his peak,I think he was better than Henry and Ronaldhino, and even though he is over weight,he still scores goals. If you want to see more vids of him, just search his name.
Prime Ronaldo is, in my opinion the greatest striker that football has ever seen. Blistering pace, powerful, amazing skill and control and a viciously powerful and accurate shot off either foot. He was Henry, Romario, Ronaldinho and Van Basten all rolled into one.
Now, he is only a shadow of what he once was but still a massive threat and one of the best strikers in the world.
Oggie, you must be the coolest poster around here apart from me. Great taste man,CC.!! Even though I am an Arsenal fan, even I admit,Henry is not as good as Ronaldo either! Anyone know how many he has scored for Brazil,he is near the record right? 99 caps, remember he has missed at least 2 years of footy too through injury! Great description and I agree man.
Thanks man. Have a back!
Yeah, Ronaldo was just a BEAST in his prime... almost superhuman abilities.
In club football he has scored an unbelievable 219 goals in 285 games and for Brazil he has 58 goals in 91 games. He is also only 2 goals off Gerhard Müller's all time World Cup scoring record of 14. He will more than likely break that record this year!
The Ronaldo that played for Barcelona in the 1996 - 1997 season was the prime Ronaldo in my opinion... 34 goals in 37 games says it all really. Totally amazing talent!
On current form, Henry is probably the best striker in the world in my opinion. Adriano is up there too, especially in his Brazilian form (22 goals in 34 games). Man, I can't wait for the World Cup.
