IMO Mayweather still has the more impressive resume

How so? I am the biggest mAYWEATHER fan on here, but his two biggest wins were against Hatton and Oscar and Pacquiao beat them both worse along with beating Marquez, Barrera and Morales. Not to mention a whole slew of other solid fighters.

Both have a great resume, but Pacquiao's is clearly better even IMO before he fought De La Hoya and Hatton.

Those were PBF biggest money wins...his wins over, castillo, corrales, hernadez, chavez, manfredy were more impressive than the win over hatton...and the commercial delahoya victory was just young champ against fading champ for money IMO...

pac has two wins over morrales, barrera, and on paper one over JMM..but the asterix on morrales is once zahir raheem gave him a thorough boxing lesson he was done, evidence in him not winning another fight afterwards.

I'm sick of Mayweather cherry picking his opponent. I believe Roach is right when he said "Floyd picked Marquez, he couldn't wait one day. I think he's afraid to fight Pacquiao".

BTW no one knew beforehand that Hoya is that weight drained...

Until the night before the fight where Freddy Roach saw how ODLH was badly weight drained and told Pac to just go get him since ODLH had nothing to bring to the ring. He was right. Oscar didn't do anything really but receive punches.

In fact Hoya enjoying being a 2 to 1 favorite... As I've said, stop reading too much into that fight... You're only blinded by Hoya's skeletal physique... and fail to appreciate what PAC has done impressively in that fight...

Put it this way. Remember Oliver McCall vs Lennox Lewis? On their first fight all it took was a single punch to the jaw to bring Lewis down. Then comes the rematch, Oliver McCall didn't do anything whatsoever but just take punches until it was decided that the fight shouln't go on. Can we really say that Oliver McCall brought the best out of Lewis on that 2nd fight? No way. Same thing with ODLH vs Pac. If ODLH went in there with the arsenal he had in his prime and then lost convincingly then yeah, I would be impressed with Pac's performance but not vs a moving punching bag. Can't really say "moving" punching bag when ODLH barely did that.

Actually, DLH tore his body up so much to get down that he couldn't even get his weight back properly as on fight night he weighed 145, less than Pac. Roach pointed out that DLH have IV marks and that is a desparation attempt to hydrate someone. Before the ring entrance no one knew but DLH knew he was doomed

ODLH looked great even when he lost vs Mosley 1 and Hopkins. He was using all the tricks in his bag, top shape, etc. With Pac, I was surprised I didn't see ANYTHING from him at all.

Manny Pac has fought out of the comfort zone and weight, Mayweather could have fought a true welter instead of asking JMM to fight at a weight he has never fought at. Floyd gets no credit from me for this. He would get my respect for fighting men in his own weight like Shane and Cotto. He will hide behind the money argument and a year out but it is all the same BS from Floyd which people buy into. He is a joke.
