ephedra was illegal for a while, and hydroxycut did not contain any.. i believe ephedra recently (within the last year or so) became legal again, so it probably is in hydroxycut.. it's all about moderation though.. don't take it every day, and don't take it before an extreme workout on a hot day.. this is where some athletes ran into trouble with ephedra.. dehydration and high heart rate.
