He's a better QB than Big Ben. Peyton doesn't have a great running game or a great defense.

Meh, if he had gone ahead and signed he would have gotten his attention for a week or so but then it would have died off till training camp, this way he can keep the spotlight on him longer, throw out a few rumors here and there to keep things going.

And no, I don't totally believe everything I say about Favre but its possible, he is a gigantic attention whore after all.
