Riddick Bowe has only 1 marquee win in the 1990's: his first fight with Holyfield. After that he ducked Lewis, got out of shape, fought a couple of bums, lost to Holyfield, fought a couple of bums, then got smashed by Golata twice.
Sorry but Winky should be up there. IMO even Vitali Klitschko is better than Bowe and would have beaten him soundly.
Bowe would be in the top 20 for wasted talent !
That guy had the universe at his feet but enjoyed a steak too much !
He was loved in the Uk ad seemed a really good sportsman ,I remember he spent about a month over here !
Remember him presenting Sports personality awards , sitting ringside to watch Herbie Hide - Michael Muray and giving a great interview plus the bin episode , that was real exposure here what is was like in the states I don't know.
His decline was shocking even y boxing standards
I'd add Tszyu to the list but like Jaz I really can't pick one to drop exept for Bowe.
That is a cracking list BTW
I remember that.
I went to watch Hide -v- Murray & Riddick Bowe was there & he was a really nice guy!
I also remember a ringside interview after the Hide fight & Herbie was poking Riddick in the face, telling him where he's going to hit him when/if they fought in the future!
Bowe was so calm & didn't really react at all.![]()

Did you all miss the part where I said I couldn't think of number 20, so just put Bowe there even though he doesn't deserve it![]()
Terry Norris deserves at least an honors mention IMO.
In fact I am surprised Taylor hasnt been mentioned. His resume is tough as hell too.

Here's your problem mate... You just post here without reading or understanding the other postings... The threadstarter MOD BIG_H just placed Bowe there coz he can't think of anyone else...
"Was struggling with number 20, so put Bowe in, pretty sure he doesn’t deserve it!"
You first give me a neg rep when I mentioned a fact that PAC defeated 4 boxers in that elite list.... Neg rep for presenting a fact??And it's a very relevant fact, imagine defeating a good 20% of that very elite list...
