He ruined it by beating Zab who then moved up and won the undisputed welterweight title?

I don't think Zab's career was a bad career at all by any stretch.

The problem is by now he should have accomplished more.

It's not that his career was ruined, his career has been good, but his career doesn't match what his talent was.

When it comes down to that aspect of his career it is and always shall be Zab's fault.

But his career was never "ruined" he won another title at 140 and became undisputed champ at 147, thats not a bad career. It's just not what it should have been, him being one of the most underachieving talents in boxing is his own fault. He did well to bounce back after the Tszyu loss and become and undisputed champ, but then he fell right back into it right when he looked like he'd matured. and thats his fault.

Judah prior to Kosta fight was apparently the new Pernel Whittaker, so on that night he was exposed and has in all truth never been the same oh sorry apart from beating the HOF great Cory Spinks .

Zab has been beaton at everytime he has stepped up.

I like Zab, but he has failed when it counted. He always had the skill, but didnt always have the will and ultimately thats his biggest downfall. A+ skills, C- Mentality= B fighter.

He was knocked down legitimately before the Tszyu fight, he never looked super great IMO except against no names.

all right i get it zab is not a fighters that reached his potential, and nevertheless his career right now is crap and may not go anyway,

but i think that even tho his career did not reach his potential he was in alot of entertaining fights, even when he lost.

I agree with that, and tbh there probably isn't another top-class (he was once at least) southpaw who is as close in speed, power & movement to Manny. Let's face it Manny will probably struggle to get a similar level of sparring, as the fighters closest in style & ability are Floyd Sr's and I can't see him doing Freddie Roach ANY favours.
