Why is a boxer trying to go into MMA a joke?


Don't know how much of the story is legit and how many is opinion. Isn't Roy Jones supposed to be fighting Jeff Lacy soon?

it's a joke cause Jones shouldn't be competing in the sport he was great at, much less one he's never tried, and start as a professional on that note , sorry Jones should just go ahead and coach his kids youth basketball team or something

From the article it doesn't look like he wants to make a career out of it though. But fight someone like Nick Diaz or Anderson Silva. Most of the rest of the article seems like heresay imo.

I do think Roy should retire.
