Delahoya needed a knockout to win going into the 12th. he didn't get it, Quartey won. And he would beat him again. Delahoya has more openings now then he did then, and if anything is more open for a jab then he's ever been, and he doesn't guard the body as well as he used to, he seems to content to guarding his head now. Delahoya is still open to straight shots, more then he ever has been in his career. Quartey would beat him again. Quartey HAS lost a step or two or three, but Delahoya may not have lost step, but he's lost a lot more form.
You must be talking about Tito going into the 12th against winky coz the fight was even going into the 12th round. the knockdown punctuated the fight for Oscar. The only thing that was controversial about the fight was the margin on the judges scorecards. Yes oscar is not as mobile as he used to be but Quartey was never to big on body punching anyways. quartey hasn't carried his power to jr middleweight he landed so many clean shots on Carlos Bojorquez and couldn't even knock him down, the stoppage only came because the ref felt sorry for carlos getting hit so much, there is no way he hurts oscar and Quartey was out on his feet in the fight with Verno Phillips, Oscar would have demolished him in that scenario.
