Yes Miles. If he regards JMM as a stepping stone then what does that make of Pac?

They have basically the same style and PBF is just the better, bigger and stronger version of JMM... A bigger excellent boxer, most of the time beats the smaller excellent boxer...
    .
So if PBF will pretty much step on JMM, does that mean he will also step on Pac? I will be surprised if you say that Pac CAN LOOSE vs Mayweather. For you, is there such thing as Pac loosing?

    Styles makes fights...

I'm guessing PAC vs. PBF will be even on betting odds unlike here where PBF is a 4 to 1 heavy favorite...

If Floyd wins easy in July there's no way in hell Mayweather-Pacquiao get's to even odds. Floyd will probably end up at greater than a 2-1 favorite. Oddsmakers will not be influenced by Manny's wins over fighters who fight nothing like Floyd.

    OK let's see...

    PBF UD12 JMM (??)
    PAC SD12 JMM

    PAC KO2 Hatton
    PBF TKO10 Hatton

    PAC RTD8 Hoya
    PBF SD12 Hoya

Looking at the above results, PAC even looked like the betting favorite... So I think 50/50 odds is it considering all other factors...

Not a chance in hell Pac starts favourite over Floyd. You can bet on that.

I'm guessing an even 50/50 starting odds ... unless PBF KOs JMM in the 1st round which is very unlikely...

Floyd has ALREADY been priced up as favourite, with some bookies, before beating Marquez.

    Floyd - 4/6
    Pac - 6/5

When Floyd beats Marquez his odds will shorten

You're forgetting that PBF KO'd the Big Show.

That is a very pertinent observation. It was 50:50 but this makes Floyd the favourite IMO and the bookies should reflect this. Furthermore Fenster talks only in facts so I'm inclined to believe him too.

Yes they have little differences. I don't know the vegas odds but they wont have differences after Floyd beats Marquez, they will both have Floyd a stronger favourite. Trust me.

It all depends on how Floyd beats JMM on fight night and that will determine the odds for the Pac fight. If he knocks him out or boxes him to a wide unanimous decision then he would be a heavy favorite. But if he struggles like Pac did against JMM then PBF could be a 2 to 1 favorite or even when they fight.

Ohhh I don't know.. When the fighters are about 3 weight divisions apart!!! Looks like PBF is taking the easy way out again. Old slower fighters, smaller fighters, overmatched fighters, all are welcome to the ring against Floyd!

    not neccesarily

floyds beating world class opposition before without looking truly unstopable.

The key to beating mayweather is to not chase him down or attempt to fight him on the back foot but punch and move and try and rough him up on the inside whenever possible.

If floyd labours to a decision over marq in a scrappy contest id still mantain my opinion that pacs speed wont be as big an issue for floyd as it has been for everyone else and floyd wins a tactical contest between the 2 everyday of the week!!
