Yeah it's time to hang them up 100% for me. He seems to have a lot to get on with outside the ring with his gym and promoting. I have high hopes with Ricky doing all this it could lead to big things for boxing hopefully.Originally Posted by Quinito

Ive been hearing for a while now he`ll be making an announcement tommorow.
If so it`ll no doubt be to announce his retirement
Shame if true as id like to see at least a month to pass by before any immediate announcement is made

It took Hoya 4 months and lots of booing before he decided to quit for good... I think Hatton will not announce anything today...

Hattons 50/50 on wether to quit or continue.He did'nt state exactly what plans he has as to wether he wants to step into the ring again.He mentioned that he needs a little more time with his family and to think about what he really need to do.
Time will tell!It would'nt bother me if he retires now,he's given us brits a hell of a ride!
