    His lack of punching power is kind of an equalizer for opponents... but I think Ivan's still slick enough to outbox most potential opponents out there. I think a year or two more at most is what Ivan has left.

    I agree with Titofan that even at 34 Calderon is still more than capable than dealing most of the opposition around 105 & 108, apart from maybe Gonzalez... I think he needs to fight Viloria next after Mayol, then maybe Gonzalez, Garcia or Sithsamerchai. I'd then love to see him step up to 112 & take that 0 from Narvaez!

    i heard rumors that he's planning on moving up to 112 next year, to face Concepcion

    Luis Concepcion? The Panamainian would be a good 1st fight at 112 for Calderon, he blew away Arambulet & dominated Esquer...

    My ideal future for Calderon:

    School Viloria
    Go to war with Gonzalez
    Take Narvaez' 0
    The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
