if Mallinaggi wins everyone owes him alot of respect too!!!...paulis gonna have to box that big ape of a peurto rican that 'Chop-chopped' corely ...cotto was 157 for that fight ...thats alot of weight classes
Yeah IF...he won't win though...Cotto will demolish him much like Gatti-GamacheOriginally Posted by means2184
4 hours is a big digested meal and at least 1 good protein shake extra.
Perhaps Cotto will be his heaviest yet.
But Paulie is not going to slug it out is he anyway? if anything the weight increase will make him slightly slower i would imagine ?
32 hours can make a big difference at this weight rather than 28.
Sorry bout that man.Originally Posted by The Game

"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Wait, isn't there some kind of rule against how much you can put on during the time between the weighin and the fight? If there isn't then there definitely needs to be. What the F*** is the point of fighting at 140 if by the time fight night comes, you're weighing close to 165? It creates a disadvantage for guys who are naturally around 140.
Yea but it still happens.
You can bet if Castillo had a 1 o clock and he made 135 people would be fumming that he'd be 160 by the night of the fight![]()
Cotto on the other hand can go up as far as he wants![]()
Imagine 165 pounds behind Cotto's body shots on Paulie's skinny frame. Paulie should have put something about the weigh-in times in the contract. Too bad, now he better run around that damn ring for twelve rounds or his ribs are getting broken.
32 hours...what next 2 days before....they should weigh in the day of the fight period......they do it in the amateurs and in international competitions....and thats like 2 hours before.....If you can't make weight move up.....
It feels good to be back home.
hahah,CC back bro.Originally Posted by Hulk

I've been to the fights in vegas and they all start weighing in round lunch time certainly not 5pm.. Also if you have dehydrated yourself to make the weight it takes longer than 24 hours to fully recover.
