Marquez is obviously not willing to be 'protected' like Pac I suppose. I don't think bigger, good opponents phase him.
That's cuz Marquez has great heart. He won't be denied. It's the reason why Pac avoided a 3rd fight with him. One of the few things Mayweather and Kenny agreed on was Marquez beat Pac twice.
