It's all about publicity. Floyd knows how to market himself. It's just an act to make people hate him but still fork over the money to watch him fight. He knows how to play the game well. And Brian Kenny is just helping him market himself.

If Floyd Mayweather wanted somebody else to interview him, they'd get somebody else to interview him, yet he always wants Kenny to do it. Why? whether he likes him or not is irrelevant, he likes the interviews they have because they always are so contentious, which leads to them being memorable.

He said something once (unless I'm losing my mind) about Kenny being his Howard Cosell. I looked for it for like a minute and couldn't find it, can't be bothered. Maybe I'm confused.
