Brian Kenny gets reaction from Shane Mosley

Gotta love Mosley! He's definitely towards the end of his career and doesn't know how much longer he can fight at the top level, BUT, he is still looking for the best possible fight for himself. He's looking to fight either Pacquiao or Mayweather just having fought Cotto, Mayorga, and Margarito in a row. Talk about balls!

Mosley was more keen on getting the Hatton-Pacquiao winner than Floyd, and now that looks like it may not happen is a bit pissed off (understandably with this 142 nonsense) lookin like he's not got many places to go. Shane & Floyd are my two favourite boxers & it would be a great fight, but from a boxing perspective, I would like to see Shane fight the winner of Cotto-Clottey, and Floyd fight Pacquiao (should he beat JMM) and then the winners of those fights go for each other.

As another poster said Shane is Floyd with balls and who is not afraid to lose his unbeaten record. If Shae wanted to remain unbeaten all his career he never would have taken the risk of fighting ODH all those years ago. He is a true great, Floyd is a fraud. What excuse will Floyd use now?

Props to Kenny for interviewing are boxers, espn is the number 1 sporst channel in the states. anytime boxing gets time on i love it.

I hope Shane gets a big fight, either pac or floyd. I really think shane deserves it but if he fights pac i will have a hard time rooting for either guy.

I'm a fan of Shane and I think he is an ATG but he isn't beating Mayweather and I think fans are fooling themselves off of the Margarito performance. Shane didn't change anytime from the Cotto fight to the Mayorga fight, he just had a perfect opponent in Margarito in front of him to look spectacular against. Let's not forget the fact Cotto outboxed him and Mayorga gave him fits. Margarito is a slow methodical fighter, yeah he beat Cotto, Cotto isn't Shane Mosley but Cotto didn't try to outslug Sugar Shane he outboxed him, he outboxed Margarito early but then decided to try to outslug him and that was his downfall.

I think if Mayorga's speed can give Mosley issues and if Miguel Cotto can outbox him then Floyd wouldn't have a problem. Remember Shane Mosley never changed, but his opponents did. So I'm noy buying into the hype that Mosley is the only guy at 147 that can beat Floyd.

Besides if Floyd fought and beat Marquez and then Pacquiao and then fought and beat Mosley all the fans would do is say that Floyd waited too long to fight Shane and that Shane was over the hill. The same fans that said Mosley was over the hill after Wright and Cotto beat him are the people saying now that Mosley could beat Floyd 2 fights later, lol

I guess you've missed the numerous times PBF has called Mosley out. Maybe you also missed the time when Shane was asked about a proposed Mayweather fight and he essentially refused it.

Yep that should be it... Shane fighting the winner of Clottey-Cotto and Floyd should have been fighting the winner of PAC-Hatton... But Floyd didn't wait for just 1 day to see the winner of PAC-Hatton and instead sealed the JMM fight... Though the 135 lbs. JMM is a good tune up fight for the 147 lbs. Floyd...

I see Shane restraining himself from totally lambasting the PBF-JMM tune up fight since this is a co-promotion between Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions... Shane is part owner of GB Promotions and JMM is also a GBP boxer...

Seems like its been good for boxing to me, there are times when ESPN seems to care more about the WNBA or bowling than boxing. Yet its been all over the place lately.

The period since the Hatton-Pacquaio fight has seen more mainstream coverage of boxing than there has been for a long time here. Great little moment for boxing. Just need to ride it out, keep making big fights with the stars of the sport.

And Brian Kenny becoming sort of a go to guy for boxing and boxing interviews on ESPN is great for the sport.

Mosley should at least try and stay busy. Might end up nearly being a year since beating Margarito before he gets in the ring again. I hate it when boxers become inactive. He's getting old too.
