    Some facts:
Cotto beat Mosley for the True Welterweight title
Margarito beat Cotto for the True Welterweight title
Mosley beat Margarito for the True Welterweight title

Somewhere during all of this Floyd Mayweather beats Light Welterweight champion Ricky Hatton for a Vacant Welterweight Title

Floyd is correct, none of those guys did beat him. LEGEND
Floyd Mayweather had already won the True Welterweight title, he was the Undisputed Welter champ whether you like it or not. And Hatton was THE Light Welterweight champion as well and was thought to be the best at that weight and was the guy who beat Kostya Tszyu and the guy people bashed Floyd for not fighting. He fought and knocked him out now people wanna downplay those wins. Floyd is absolutely right that he gets no credit for his wins.
Floyd WAS the True Welterweight champ after he beat Baldomir. That was the only time though. Then he chose to fight Oscar and Hatton, neither of whom were welterweight champions. Now its been three years since he was a legit Welterweight champion and he tries to act like he has done enough in that time to still be considered the best Welterweight in the world. He could have fought Margarito, Cotto, or Mosley, to prove that he really is the best but he didnt. He retired. And now hes back to fight a lightweight at Welterweight. Shane is right that if Floyd fought the same opposition as him, he would have loses too.
Alright let me say it again.

Cotto was considered inexperienced when Margarito beat him as the reason he lost, do you actually think if Floyd had fought and beat him sooner he'd have gotten any credit whatsoever for that win? Didn't think so, also people would have complained that Cotto had just moved up to 147.

    We already know Margarito's story.

And as far as Mosley goes, no one was plowing for Mosley to fight Floyd at 147 after his fight with COllazo, and loss to Cotto, in fact people were calling Mosley over the hill especially after his fight with Mayorga and no one was clamoring for Floyd to fight Mosley, its only AFTER Mosley beat Margarito that people are stirring it up. SO you can't say he ducked or dodged mosley, the way Mosley was looking back then if Floyd had beat him no one would have given him credit theyd have said that he didnt look impressive against Collazo, that he lost to Cotto and struggled with Mayorga as an example of how past his best he is.

Cotto was considered inexperienced when he lost to Margarito? Thats the first ive heard that. Pretty ridiculous if people actually thought that with all of Cottos amateur and pro fights including many championship fights. I dont think were going to reach a point of agreement, but Cotto, Margarito, and Mosley were all the man of the division at one point, hand Floyd never persued them when they were. Now Shane is the king of the mountain. Not Floyd.

Ya, he definitely wasn't considered inexperienced against Margarito. Cotto actually had more big fight experience than Margarito did. Cotto had already headlined 2 big PPVs before against Zab and Shane.

Well i be pulling for Mosley think prime for prime Mosley could of beat Floyde but by the time they fight how old is Mosley going be lol. Mean if it comes off it could be atleast a year maybe even more i am guessing mean Molsey going to be like what 38 39 i mean he getting up there lol. As for the Cotto fight i thought Mosley won it was close Maygra rwas much latger then Mosley was he came in like at 170 be still got knocked out. As fof Margarito everthing is just speculation over all his fights but no fighter has ever knocked him out and plaster or not did not help Margaritos chin think people downplay this win more then they get hype from it.
