Nice Post! I read through that whole thing and I usually cannot stand reading "mailbags."
I actually want to see if anyone on this forum would want to challenge or throw a rebuttal for what Doug Fischer said about Mosley not really ducking Floyd a couple years ago. Any takers? I'm not trying to be antagonistic, I really want to know if anyone else has any proof that this happened.

"Sixty forty I kicks yo' ass, Sixty forty I tears yo' ass up" - Roy Jones
Good read. Don't agree with all the points, but entertaining nonetheless.
Well, how can you prove Mosley ducked PBF if he wouldn't go into negotiations? Its just like saying "I want someone to prove PBF is ducking Mosley right now." Them not fighting is no proof at all. I am a die hard Mosley fan and believe me I remember vividly that Mosley was called out by PBF before Mosley left lightweight. I remember Mosley saying that the fight isn't right because PBF isn't a big enough draw. And I remember Mosley throwing out a crazy number to fight PBF as a counter. And I know people have to remember the most recent one when Mosley said he had to get his teeth fixed as to why he wasn't interested in fighting PBF. Mosley is my favorite fighter of all time but I am not going to be a bias fight fan. The truth is the truth and fans and haters of certain fighters just suppress the truth if its not what they want to hear. I am a boxing fan first and an honest one even if its a fighter I favor. Of course, most fans aren't about the truth they just want their reality to be what everyone else thinks. But now I think PBF is looking like he doesn't want Mosley. It could be ducking for easier money or whatever but PBF has not fought the fighters he should if he is going to campaign at 147. After JMM, PBF needs to fight Cotto/Clottey winner or Mosley. Otherwise, go down in weight.
How is mayweather ducking MOsley? Mosley hasn't deserved a rematch until maybe his fight with Margarito, even then IMO people should be talking about Mosley fighting COtto who beat him, and not about Mosley facing Mayweather. I honestly think everything will play out, but I don't think by the time MAyweather finished fighting Marquez and Pacquiao that Mosley will be on top of the welterweight division anymore. I see Cotto beating Mosley again, and I see other guys doing it to (P. Williams and Berto if he actually boxes)
I personally don't think PBF is ducking Mosley but I think if he wins against JMM then he should fight Cotto or Mosley. He wants to fight at 147 then he should fight 147 pounders. Otherwise, he should go down in weight which he easily could. He already weighs less than 147. But what I really think is that PBF is going to go after Mosley. He said he had a hit list and he has never liked Mosley much.

Funny you say that, as I think they actually do get on, I don't think its like Floyd & Oscar. I think this almost pre-promotion for if they fight after the JMM fight assuming Floyd wins. Shane was talking before the Marquez-Diaz fight about how he'd talked to Floyd about them fighting but that Floyd wanted to be in the ring sooner that Shane was planning to be ready for, so he would wait on the Hatton-Pacquiao winner instead. I do wish Shane would fight Williams though, fact is if Mayweather is 'ducking' Shane, Shane is ducking Williams (don't believe any of them are).
On the article, I have long thought Dougie Fischer is a complete dick & just abuses anyone who disagrees with him & often completely ducks points he doesn't like, almost reminds me of Moono in a weird way. The bit I think is a joke is where he says Margarito wasn't afraid to fight anyone... well, duh, he had f***in plaster in his gloves![]()
