    Casino...nobody mentioned this movie yet

    Some oldies no one mentioned
Scarface - the original 1932 movie which Oliver Stone based his 'Scarface' on

The Public Enemy - Starring James Cagney

Little Caesar - Starring Edward G. Robinson

The Roaring Twenties - Starring Humphrey Bogart and James Cagney

    Murder Inc.
    St. Valentine's Day Massacre
Manhattan Melodrama (the last film John Dillinger saw)

And coming out soon "Public Enemies" starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale amongst others

There are a ton of old

    Ofcourse, The Godfather (1-3).
Once Upon A Time in America, too.
    Yes, Scarface, The Untouchables.
    Also, Blood In, Blood Out.
The Outsiders, but it was only a gang movie.
Can we consider Bonnie and Clyde gangsters?
Try: A Better Tomorrow (1 & 2) and HARDBOILED (Directed by John Woo, starred Chow Yun Fat).

    Not in any order -
    Get Carter (original)
    The Godfather 1 & 2
Heat (if you consider it a gangster movie)
    King of New York
Bullet Boy (more localized one very similar to what it's like where I live, about real London not Guy Ritchie's middle class interpretation)
    Donnie Brasco
    Paid In Full
    Infernal Affairs
Brother (the hardest gangster film there is)
    City of God
    Goodfellas
    Casino

    probably more I've forgotten

Goodfellas. I think that's the best gangster film by a mile.

Paul Muni was the original scarface in the movie your talking bout. Machine gun kelly wasnt bad either, had a young charles bronson in it. Another good one was 'the grissom gang'
