favourite gangster movies of all time

I'm probably the only person who feels this way, but I thought Scarface was a mediocre film at best.

I've seen A Bronx Tale mentioned a few times, I love that movie. Written and directed by De Niro.

Nope agreed. Scarface was good, but special ? No way. Reservoir Dogs is so overrated. I'ld rather watch paint dry than watch Reservoir Dogs again. The only good scene is where the guy gets his ear cut off lol.

Surprised really no one has mentioned American Me with edward James Olmos; on par with Blood In Blood Out. Wlliam Forsythe was awesome in this movie.

Wow,i forgot all about Get Carter!What a great film that is,classic really,the film was made only around the corner where i live now,up near Gateshead(northeast of uk).i love the ending!
