For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Fantastic to have you here Al.
I agree with you regarding the excitement factor around the current crop of fighters. Not often through history have been seen numerous potential future hall of famers plying their trade in the same division at the same time. We had the Heavyweights of the early seventies and my favourite era of Hagler Hearns Leonard and Duran. But looking at the current Welterweight division we have Shane Mosley, Manny Pacquiao (if he decides to fight at 147) the return of Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto and Paul Williams should he decide to drop back down. There are some mouthwatering matchups in there - let's just hope they get made!!
Al has an outstanding Boxing mind. I look forward to reading his articles
Welcome Al I'm going to enjoy reading your column
Great stuff Saddo!
Excellent piece of news and a great addition to the site, was watchin Al last night funnily enough on some fights I transferred from VHS to DVD, even looking at back at fights it was great to see Al's enthusiasm even though he knew the results and had seen them probably 100 times.
Welcome aboard.
Showtime's boxing team kicks the bottom of HBO's imnsho and Al is the best of the lot.
Why is the theme song from The Jeffersons going through my head now?
Al's the man.
