Mike Tyson's daughter Passes away in a horrible accident

I find it terribly sad, but it's (unfortunately) something that happens every single day. Unfortunately, the publicity it will receive because of who the father is will only serve to make it that much harder on the family.

Yeah, I really feel bad for Tyson. As boxing fans we're obviously familiar with him, and it's almost like this has happened to someone you kind of know in a very distant way.

It's not solely the media's fault. If there was no demand for these types of stories they wouldn't cover them. I also hope they leave him, and the entire family alone, but I seriously doubt that will be the case.

Just terrible. Home tragedies like this happen all the time, curtains, or things like this. Absolute tragedy and condolences to all knew and loved her. Poor Mike and family. RIP.

This might be a stupid idea and I may be a result of me feeling overly sentimental about the situation, but maybe we could all sign our condolences in a thread and send it to Tyson and the family (obviously we'd have to send it to one of his representatives etc.). I might be a nice gesture, kind of like signing an online obituary guest book. I know when my mom died unexpectedly it was nice to read the condolences that people placed in the online remembrance book; even if I didn't know them (or if they didn't really know her) it was still nice to know they took the time to say a word or two.

I'm with that idea... I'm sure he would appreciate any thought's that go out to him from all parts of the boxing community... He's put a huge amount into boxing and I think it's a good idea.... Maybe if Saddo reads he can create a sticky thread..

Man.... I don't even want to read this thread, I read the initial article and it brought a tear to my eye because I have an eleven year old daughter I can't imagine how Mike must feel...
