Let em do it for fun as they are and don't push em. Otherwise they'll get bored at such an early age in most cases and end up resenting it.

Here's my son when he was hit by his older brother in the nose. I told him no more boxing but he said he's ok & was never discouraged.

yea same thing happened to me with boxing lol, it's hard for a 5 yr old to do that every day, my dad got me into boxing when i was 5 and i did it till i was 10, i hated it after a while, but still loved watching the fights, once i grew up and matured a bit, i fell in love with the sport all over again, but never had the real drive or desire to pursue it as a career
