I think its amazing that he moved up and took on the #1 light welterweight. Now all of a sudden he's expected to go up and fight the best WW's? I mean common, the guy's a great fighter but he's not superman. What next? Will we expect him to go up and clean out the HW division?
Exactamento!!! A six division world championship is already a feat by itself, especially coming from a former flyweight. Having the welters meet PAC at a catchweight makes the fight a lil fair.
i have no prob if manny just takes on the best at 140, but he shouldn't be trying this whole BS line that he's dominating every weight class he's been in, and then call out welter's but not want to fight them at their best,IMO i'd love to see Pacquiao fight Guzman or Campbell, but if he's gonna talk all this shit of becoming the ONLY 7 division champion, he's gonna have to do it at 147 lbs
Of course PAC gonna do it at the proper weight (no catchweight) of 147 lbs. if he will try to become the only boxer in boxing history to capture titles in 7 different weight divisions... But then again if PAC will choose a welter champ in the likes of a Urango or a Berto, he will still be castigated for not facing the bigger welter champs like Mosley, Clottey or Cotto... Becoming the only 7-division titliest will not please every boxing fan... They won't appreciate that great feat just because it's from a weaker champ...

I still think Berto will be showing Mosly and Cotto a thing or two should they face eachother, and should he actually fight properly.

I still don't how Pacquiao being willing to face Mayweather or Marquez instead of Mosley or Cotto makes him a pussy or somebody who ducks fighters. IMO Marquez or Mayweather are more dangerous stylewise than Cotto and Mosley are size wise.

great feat? he'd be doing the same thing he did at 135, taking on the weakest fighter, and also if he ends up fighting Urango, that'd only be cause Berto lost to him, which honestly would say alot about Berto, and nothing of it good might i add, also taking on the weakest champ at 147 basically contradicts the whole "only wanting the biggest fights" claim

i'm not saying it makes him a pussy, i for one think he should campaign at 140, and take on the best in the division, like i said, i'd love to see him against Guzman, Campbell, Torres, Holt, Bradley, etc.
