This is a terrible thread. Since when are we citing blogs?

IF Castillo gave him a hard time, you can be sure Marquez can as well. Also, if I would follow your logic, every fights (or 90%) would be a tune up fight for Floyd. To me, Marquez isn't a Tune up fight at all, Floyd picked him because he's by far the best small guy available and he knows which reproaches are made to him and he wants to try to patch it up with great caliber fighter but at a weight where his risks are smaller. IF JMM is a tune up fight, It's the toughest one you can pick from.

People are broke and the outcome isn't really in question. People will buy it on tv especially after all the 24/7 garbge, but it just isn't the fight people want to see.

therefore the Leonar/Hagler fight fits your "criteria",
Leonard's first fight back after a 3 year layoff was Hagler, and his advantages were that he was bigger than Leonard (although Ray was taller Hagler was the more muscular and heavy built fighter), Hagler had fought all of his career at the weight, and was undefeated since winning the title making all his defenses, besides the Duran UD, by knockout, and Hagler had TWO good eyes

That's too bad.

Looks like GBP is worried about the low ticket sales. Even though they have reached out to the UK based audience with Hatton vs Judah, it appears that it won't be enough to cover the bills and they need to bring in some more drawing power! With Diaz on the ticket, we might actually see 7500k+ PPV and I'd be tempted to buy it. NOT it's against Malignaggi....

Malignaggi Wants Juan Diaz on Mayweather-Marquez - Boxing News
By Rick Reeno
BoxingScene.com has received word that former junior welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi is now willing to accept a fight with former lightweight king Juan Diaz. Malignaggi was scheduled to meet Mike Alvarado on the "Latin Fury 9" undercard on June 27. The fight fell through when Alvarado suffered an elbow injury during training camp. Malignaggi had waited for several months for the Alvarado fight to happen, and now his patience has run thin. He wants to take a fight before the end of the summer.
Malignaggi was previously approached with an offer to fight Diaz, but wasn't exactly thrilled with the fight taking place in Houston, Texas [Diaz's hometown]. Diaz is scheduled to return on an August 22 HBO televised card. He may get bumped to the pay-per-view undercard to Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Juan Manuel Marquez on July 18. If he gets the switch, Malignaggi would like to fight him on the card. If Diaz remains on the August date, Malignaggi is still open to working something out.

So Saddoboxer first wants to boycott, then says he hopes Marquez gets a good payday.. Can't be hoping too much if you're not going to help out!!
Regardless, you can guarantee that Saddoboxer will be all over the boards after the fight after he boycotted it..
I like watching the fights in HD on the plasma screen.. This is a potential great fight, and regardless, it involves mayweather, which is all the more reason to buy it.
Any big fight, is a guaranteed watch. Whether it's ordered or you go out to a bar to see it..
Clearly you are not a sports fan.. Just because your favorite team isn't in the finals or playoffs of a sport, do you not have any interest in the game(s)?
I really hope the Mayweather/Pac fight takes place.. I will say it now that because you are the biggets nut hugging, sack gobbling, cum guzzling queer for Pacquiao that you should feel OBLIGATED to put your stay here at Saddo's on the line.
Pac loses you leave.. Floyd loses I leave.. that's right I will put myself on the line to get your stupid, immature, completely oblivious a$$ off of this site.
