Get it checked out if you can mate, don't do what I did thinking it will all be right and end up with a stuffed up wrist (or in your case shin). I should post a pic up of what my wrist looks like now, not great

Spicoli, how did you know it's a hairline fracture, only x-rays can tell, if not done, well we are just guessing.

A thorough medical history and physical exam by a physician provides enough information to determine if further testing is necessary.

What will be the harm in getting x-ray? It could be a Linear Fracture instead. Linear fracture runs parallel to the bone's axis or direction of the bone's shaft.

Your Tibia needs rest to provide healing instead of supporting heavy load of your body, casting can also be done or just plain rest.

Well, went in yesterday to the urgent care local.Have to love those 5 hour waits lol.Said we had some blod clotting, most probable deep bone bruising and an infection, hence the increasing biting pain & reddening.Sent out with antibiotics and too stay off,ice and elevate. No breaks, said prob not a fracture because able to walk around so much ...(huh??)....we're going to shoot own x-ray at work today but I didn't say that.Again, thanks alot for the input fellas, much appreciated.
