The only two people that can consistently beat Fed is Novak and Nadal. Other than those two, Fed would have to be on a bad day while the other was playing the match of their lives.

There's no reason Fed goes home without the elusive title. Between Soderling, Gonzalez, Monfils, and Del Potro, I don't think any of them believe they can beat him. The only person that will hold him back from the title is Fed himself.

Monfils/Fed is a pretty good match so far neither has broke each other. Looks like Fed is gonna win the first set in a tie break. Lets see if Monfils can keep his composure being down a set.

Fed won in straight sets. Exactly what I expected Monfils would do loose it mentally after being down that one set. I think its gonna be Fed/Gonzalez in the final. With Fed finally wining the French Open.

Yes I hope Fed finally wins it but it is not the same as beating Nadal in the final.

True, but at this point I bet Fed doesn't care

And it's not like he had no chance to beat Nadal; he just beat him on clay in Madrid 3 weeks ago. But he can't beat Nadal if Nadal couldn't make the final. Still an amazing accomplishment to make 20 semi-finals in a major.

He'll be{if he wins}only the 6th guy to win all 4 slams; only the second to win it on 3 surfaces. He still has t get past Del Potro, who is playing great, and Gonzo or Soderling. Not in the bag yet.

You must be talking about Williams lol

I think Fed should win and hope he does but like Legion said its not in the Bag yet. Soderling has been playing out of his mind and if he can keeps the momentum going from his last two wins I wouldn't be surprised if he gave Fed all he can handle.

I cannot believe Fed is letting his one opportunity to win the French Open slip away. Im really not sure he can climb out of this hole he as dug for himself. Its going to be interesting.

I told you Del Potro would be big problems. He gets btter and better each tournament. And Fed is bowing easy points as usual; you can tell he's nervous. Between borderline choking and DP playing very well it's bdnews. Fed will never win the FO if it's not this one.

Federer just broke Del Potro's serve. He's up 5-1 in the fourth set.

    Come on R-Fed!!!!
