It'll get put back a couple of months. August is a quiet boxing month, they'll probably do it then when the football team have an away game and HBO have lots of free dates. Haye's injury will be verified by an independent doctor. It's just a bit more drama.
Why would he spend so much time trying to get this fight made and then pull out? He knew what he was getting into. Its just not logical.
It would be one thing if he was the champ and it was some fight forced on him or something, some kind of mandatory.

Haye does come off as a twat though after all the tough guy talk........

i don't agree that he comes off as a twat at all. Haye is confident he can beat wlad. you can see it in his eyes. whether or not that happens is another matter, but he is not scared, and he is doing all his fight hype justice! why compete if you're not at your best. he would make himself look like a twat if he went on, fought, lost, then moaned like a bitch about an injury. made the right decision at the right time.
If this does get pushed back 2-3 months it will mean Haye has had just 7 rounds of (one-sided) boxing in almost 2 years!

Oh, fuck off!! If Haye walked up to you with a T shirt on that had a picture of your decapitated head in his hands, the first thought in your head would not be "hes confident" im sure it would be "What a fucking twat"
I wonder if its got anything to do with getting sparked in sparring recently?

If you type in David Haye KO'd in sparring on google a thread on boxingscene (with no link) comes up saying Haye was KO'd 3 times in sparring by Kali Meehan. Maybe that's what Ross is talking about.
LOL at the idea of David Haye's trainer sending Haye back into sparring with a guy who had already KO'd him twice![]()
