    well hell, obviously its true

The only thing that makes me believe it might be true is how completely illogical it is, who would make up something this stupid

Cause saying Meehan sparked him is believable, 3 times is just bizarre.

Maybe Three times is wrong, maybe knocked out is wrong and he was just knocked down Three times but if you were Haye or even Booth would you really fancy your chin against the hardest puncher in the division after getting dropped regularly by your sparring partners.

Something has happened for sure and Haye has bottled it, rescheduling, knowing that Klitschko will fight someone else anyway, giving Haye alot longer than a few weeks to reasess whether he really wants this

Or you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about and are basing everything on what appears to be a rumor started by a Klit fan on boxingscene who knew that Meehan was sparring with Haye.

    Its one or the other.

I disagree. As a fan I am always skeptical of so-called injuries, although I realize they do happen often.
Whenever someone is provoking a fight and acting without class, and then pulls out.....you are a twat.
Whether he got hurt or not, pulling out of the fight will automatically make people think he is trying to get out of it. Especially when the injury is called a "undisclosed hand injury" instead of what the injury actually is.

i can care less too. hes the fighter that looks like an ass not me
How does Haye look like an ass?
He got injured like many fighters have done before him and I'm sure it will happen to many more.
Vitali pulled out of 6 fights in 3 years. Is he an ass too?
I actually thought Haye was a dirt bag with how he kept following Vlad and calling him out. Also the T-shirt was so uncalled for.

Well, well, well....I guess the Haymaker got cold feet . It's best for his career if he just goes ahead and tries to fight someone else just so he can stay relevant longer than Audley Harrison....speaking of which former Audley foe, Domminick Guinn would be a good solid tune up for whenever Haye gets back, Guinn can punch and he has never been KO'd either...I would really respect a KO win over him.

As sad as this situation is, I hope the boxing gods smile down upon us and deliver us Wladimir Klitschko-Nicolay Valuev. Sure it's not going to happen but logically it SHOULD happen #1 Valuev is still in fighting shape having just trained for a fight that was supposed to happen last week #2 The 20th is still a couple weeks away so that if this fight was to happen Valuev and Wlad could train for different styles of their new opponents #3 There is already a venue where I am sure both fighters can get their fans to. Ruslan Chagaev could also be in the running to fight Wladimir, Wlad recently came out in support of Ruslan and against what Valuev and the Finnish did in cancelling the fight. Perhaps Wlad is trying to win over Chagaev or infuriate Valuev with his remarks in the hopes of fighting either of them.

Here's my list of possible/plausable (Valuev won't be either because he has no balls) opponents for Wladimir since he's going to try and fight on the 20th anyway: Ruslan Chagaev (very doubtful although Wlad says the Germans are cool with letting Ruslan fight there), Alexander Ustinov, Cedric Boswell, Michael Sprott, Denis Bahktov, Alexander Dimitrenko, Eddie Chambers (yeah right).

Those guys are decent(ish) heavyweights, some are ranked (some by the WBA ) and all of them should be either in camp or just finished with camp for upcoming fights. It should be really interesting to see who they will give the title shot to because a lot of guys either just fought or already in contracts for a fight which means it'll be hard to get out of. Guys that would be at the tip top of the list: Arreola and Povetkin have recently fought meaning they wouldn't really want to risk a good chance at Wlad with fatigue from the last fight and a short training camp.

This if anything makes the division interesting, a nice little plot twist, and hopefully Wlad still comes out the Champion via early dominant KO.

So Haye's bottled it because he's been getting sparked in sparring?

I doubt Haye's trainer would allow him to get sparked ONCE much less 3 times....if he did then he's exactly as billed, a strength and conditioning coach with no knowledge of boxing.

Maybe Haye was sparked because he has ESP and he could just sense those punches landing from the future

If Haye heals and the fight is rescheduled hopefully everyone will admit they jumped the gun That's likely.

Kind of like how you people jumped the gun on Pacquaio ducking Hatton and yes I'm still bringing that up.

I just read that Wlad is going after Chris Arreola as first pick for the fight, a very clever replacement if you ask me. For the sake of fun though, I would love to see him fight against Valuev so he could shut down once and for all the mythe of the Russian Mountain and then get back into the serious and thick of action against Arreola or Povi.

Am I the only person on here to have noticed that that shitty rumour about Haye getting KO'd in sparring was posted in February?

    Good spot.

No pay from setanta no fight, cant blame Haye for that, although I had a great night planned for the 20th, I am sure it will be rescheduled for later in the fall

As far as i know Haye's only payment for this fight is the UK end of the TV deal from Setanta.
No one think it's suspicious that the day after Setanta fail to make a £3 million pound payment on a football deal they'd agreed, as they are in trouble, he suddenly gets a hand injury and pulls out?

If anyone knows what actual deal he secured i'd love to be wrong and this rumour is just bullshit!
I will die at my post , on the streets or in prison
